1. All KOMIAC participants must be between the ages of 12 and 20. Those 21 or older must be Al-Anon members involved in Alateen service or sponsors that have passed area guidelines.
2. Everyone is responsible for their own behavior. Remember that what we do reflects on our group, the conference, and Alateen as a whole. Remember: I AM RESPONSIBLE!
3. We are responsible for damage done to the property. If upon arrival damage is observed, this should be reported to to security table. Vandalism of property will result in expulsion from the conference and ultimately will increase the cost of the conference for everyone.
4. All medications MUST be given to sponsors for the weekend. The ONLY exception to this rule will be asthma inhalers and epi-pens.
5. NO mood altering substances are to be had or used at this conference. (Note: NO caffeine pills.)
6. Selling of contraband (cigarettes, alcohol, or other drugs) will result in expulsion from the conference.
7. You MUST wear your nametag at ALL times. Illness and medication MUST be listed on the back.
8. Mandatory is MANDATORY. Everyone, including sponsors, is required to attend mandatory events at the conference. Those requiring sleep to drive home on Sunday are encouraged to be responsible in this area. Mark your registration accordingly.
9. Your sponsors should be aware of your whereabouts at all times. Sponsor Check-Ins are MANDATORY throughout the conference.
10. Leaving the designated area is not allowed. In case of an emergency, an Alateen may leave the designated area when accompanied by a sponsor.
11. No visitation of boys to girl's rooms, and likewise no visitation of girls to boys' rooms.
12. There will be NO sleeping outside of the dorm rooms.
13. No fireworks, firearms, or weapons allowed.
14. NOTHING shall be thrown out of ANY window.
15. Everyone 14 and older must serve security posts assigned to them at registration.
16. Everyone under the age of 14 must serve clean-up posts assigned to them at registration.
17. Withholding from warm fuzzies WILL result in a FUZZY ATTACK!
18. Please remember that this is an Alateen conference and NOT THE LOVE CONNECTION, save the making out for home.
19. If you are driving, please be responsible: GET SOME SLEEP!
20. While we have our rules for the conference, the rules of the location of the conference may also apply and should also be followed.
21. Please enjoy yourself as much as possible while staying within these simple rules. The adherence to the rules is important to the safety and well-being of everyone at the conference. Violations of the MOB rules will be heard before the board with those accused of violating the MOB rules, any witnesses, and with the sponsor(s) of the accused.
